D- CAM-GB2 Camera Adder Module for GB2 System

Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The GB2 series four (4) camera add-on module(s) shall be Alpha Communications┬« / Golmar D-CAM-GB2, or approved equal. The D-CAM-GB2 shall be used to add up to two (2) of the CAM-GB2 external cameras and up to two (2) of the AHD-2812BA external cameras on a GB2 series system.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.

D- CAM-GB2 Camera Adder Module for GB2 System

The Alpha Communications® / Golmar D-CAM-GB2 Four (4) Camera Add-on Module is used exclusively with the GB2 series systems. The D-CAM-GB2 allows up to two (2) of the 2-wire CAM-GB2 external cameras and up to two (2) of the coax type AHD-2812BA external cameras.

In a GB2 system, you only need a single D-CAM-GB2 for all users, thus reducing the overall system cost. No additional power supply is required for the D-CAM-GB2 unit.

GB2 Wiring Information
The GB2's system uses simple 2-conductor non-polarized wiring making it ideal for new installations as well as for retrofit applications. All audio, video and data functions are fully digital and using the RAP-2150 (or equivalent) cable you can run up to 300 meters from the entrance panel to the furthest monitor.
