The Direct Acess/Direct Dial Option Board(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / Ring model AN913 or approved equivalent. Unit(s) shall mount to the back of the substation with 4 mounting screws.
Unit(s) shall feature four (4) DTMF inputs and four (4) transistor outputs for driving devices/features such as ADA, Camera, Strobe and Horn.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.
Input 1: Direct Dial DTMF #3 or Direct Access (depending on SW1-1)
Input 2: Direct Dial DTMF #6
Input 2: Direct Dial DTMF #9
Input 2: Direct Dial DTMF X
SW1-1: OFF = Direct Dial (for Input 1). ON = Direct Access (for Input 1).
SW1-2: OFF = Direct Access call can be canceled from Input 3 or from connected Intercom. ON = Direct Access call can only be canceled from Input 3.
SW2-1: OFF = Normal ADA Operation on Output 1. ON = Reverse ADA Operation on Output 1.
Four (4) transistor outputs are provided for driving external loads. External loads can be relays, lamps, LEDs, small buzzers or auxiliary equipment. The outputs are open collector type dricing to Ground reference. One side of the load should be connected to +24 VDC and the other connected to the output. Each output can drive up to 100mA.
Output 1: ADA
Output 2: Camera
Output 3: Strobe
Output 4: Horn
