The annunciator control unit(s) shall be Alpha Communications® model AC219, or approved equal, and shall provide tone, control and power circuits needed to operate the entire annunciator system. The AC219 shall feature integrated circuit call tone oscillator, DC power supply, and form 'C' relay.
Low voltage wiring shall be used and positive screw terminals shall be provided for installation wiring. The AC219 shall be mountable right to the surface of the wall or in the optional model CEC152 U.L.® Listed junction box cabinet.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.
The Alpha Communications® AC219 annunciator control unit is used only with the AlphaEcall™, CM800, DS100 and SF202B series emergency-call and intruder alarm systems and annunciators. The AC219 is used to provide tone signal, tone silencing, tone-silenced visual indication, auxiliary (form 'C') signal relay, and 24VDC for accessory device operation. The AC219 operates on 16VAC (30VA) low-voltage Class II wiring, using our model SS106 or SS146 transformer. All AC219 connections are positive screw terminal type.
