The Locator(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone NC512 or approved equal. The Locator shall determine the general area from which an alarm transmission is sent and shall transmit that information to the NC510 Receiver and NC511 Repeater(s). The NC512 Locator shall not re-transmit signals received from the NC511 Repeater(s) or other NC512 Locators, to ensure that the NC510 is sent accurate location information. Alarm signals from multiple locations from transmitters shall maintain reliably with multiple locators in the system. The Locator shall provide at least 200 milliwatts of effective radiated RF power. The locator shall not require a home-run wire back to the receiver or a repeater.
TekTone® has designed the Tek-CARE®500 (TC500) to work as a system. Its NC501 Master Station Computer has been carefully designed and matched to work with Tek-CARE®500 wireless and wired peripherals. TekTone® will not warrant or support components of Tek-CARE®500 that are purchased separately unless the components are add-ons to previously sold systems. TekTone® will also not warrant or support a system that is a mix of TekTone® and Non-TekTone® parts, unless prior written permission has been obtained. In order to track our systems and to inform facilities of software upgrades, full site information (site name, address and phone number) will be required when ordering. Site information and NC501 warranty number will also be required when requesting technical support.
The Alpha Communications® / TekTone NC512 is a high power locator for the Tek-CARE®500 (TC500) Wireless Emergency Call System. The NC512 Locator provides general transmitter location information for the Tek-CARE®500 Wireless Emergency Call System. The locator's range makes it a practical wireless resident/patient locating solution for open-air installations such as campuses, buildings with multiple wings, and other large wireless projects. Wireless radio protocols and Signal Synchronization Technology™ allow the locator to act intelligently, distinguishing between virgin and retransmitted signals, to that the NC512 doesn't re-transmit signals received from NC511 Repeaters or other NC512 Locators. The ensures that the NC510 Receiver is sent accurate location information.
