Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The Momentary NO Universal Contact Wireless Transmitter(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone SF526 or approved equal. The SF526 shall use the 900 MHz frequency for signal transmission. The SF526 shall support a NO momentary switch with a fast-contact closure. No physical wiring connections shall be required to transmit an alarm call. The SF526 Shall be powered by a 3V lithium battery. A mounting bracket shall also be provided.


TekTone® has designed the Tek-CARE®500 to work as a system. Its NC501 Master Station Computer has been carefully designed and matched to work with Tek-CARE®500 wireless and wired peripherals. TekTone® will not warrant or support components of Tek-CARE®500 that are purchased separately unless the components are add-ons to previously sold systems. TekTone® will also not warrant or support a system that is a mix of TekTone® and Non-TekTone® parts, unless prior written permission has been obtained. In order to track our systems and to inform facilities of software upgrades, full site information (site name, address and phone number) will be required when ordering. Site information and NC501 warranty number will also be required when requesting technical support.

SF526 Momentary NO Universal Contact Transmitter

The Alpha Communications® / TekTone SF526 Momentary NO Universal Contact Wireless Transmitter is for use with the Tek-CARE®500 Wireless Emergency Call System. The SF526 is based on Frequency Agile® spread spectrum technology and transmits signals at the 900 MHz frequency. The SF526 sends supervised signals to the Tek-CARE®500 system at a selectable interval, making it ideal for both high security installations and residential installations. It supports a NO momentary external contact switch with a fast-contact closure, and is ideal for pushbutton signal applications. The SF526 requires no physical wiring connections to transmit an alarm call and is powered by a 3V lithium battery. The SF526 has a tamper-proof case and includes a mounting bracket.
