The video-intercom kit(s) shall be Alpha Communications® JVS-406 or approved equal. Monitor shall be surface mounted using the provided mounting bracket. Monitor shall include a high quality 4.0" flat screen. Monitors using mirrors or other non-flat type screens shall not be acceptable. Monitor handset shall feature electret condenser microphone for exceptional voice fidelity. Handsets that include carbon transmitter or other voice technologies shall not be acceptable. Monitor shall include a door release button. Monitor shall plug directly into a standard 120VAC/60Hz. electrical wall outlet, and shall provide the power for the electronic chime, video monitor and camera, and intercom. Monitor shall be finished in White plastic. A separate low-voltage power supply shall be used to power the electric door release, if required.
The door remote station shall be surface mount type and shall include a 1/3" (270,000 pixel) Black and White CCD camera, infrared illuminators and momentary call button. Unit shall be finished in White plastic.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical codes.
These attractive monitors are conveniently surface mounted right on the wall, using a provided wall mounting bracket. Monitors simply plug into a standard 120VAC/60Hz. electrical outlet, and provide power for the electronic chime, video monitor/camera and intercom.
The video monitor features a crystal clear 4.0" black and white flat screen monitor (measured diagonally), electronic chime signalling, coiled cord and a momentary door release switch. The monitor also feature a front-mounted 'ON' button to turn the monitor on without being called from an entrance panel.
The door camera/intercom station is fully surface mounted and includes a built-in 1/3" CCD Black and White camera (with 270,000 pixels), infrared illuminators, and a momentary call button. Camera is finished in White plastic.
If an electric door opener will be used, run an additional 2-conductor #18AWG cable, up to 100 meters (approx. 330 feet) from the video monitor to the door opener, as well as from the video monitor to the door opener transformer/power supply.
System power is provided by plugging the inside monitor unit into a standard 120VAC/60Hz. electrical outlet.
