Master station(s) shall be rack mount type and shall feature direct-select access to remote stations (or other masters), flashing L.E.D. and tone call-in annunciation, easily programmed all-call or group-call functions, priority group call with answer back, optional privacy handset (model #96490 with A54068 cradle), audio monitoring capabilities, line supervision with fault indicators, 7-programmable feature buttons and 7-programmable master buttons.
The contractor shall furnish and install the required heavy-duty remote stations and associated flush or surface back boxes.
Contractor shall provide the required model# 1111 power supply and necessary terminal splicing units and connecting cables.

The 96010 and 96020 are Rack mounted master control stations designed to annunciate calls from and direct calls to, up to 48 (or more) substations and / or paging zones. Rack masters include 15' ribbon cable to remote electronic rack mount cabinet. The 9600 series of masters are ideal for prison and security use and can be expanded in groups of 24 buttons up to 96 buttons. The button modules have a green LED for standard call-in and a red LED for alarms. Masters can operate alone, in parallel or a combination, for flexible sub-to-master applications. Allows direct access calling, press-to-talk two-way intercom, individual and group monitoring, flexible group paging, and programmable group call with answer back. Separate amplifiers provide clear voice reproduction with provision for adding audio power when necessary. A data I/O port can provide an interface to or from other security, such as C.C.T.V. switchers and access locking control systems, or output to a P.C. or printer. Each master can have provision to call other masters as well as access overhead paging. External wires to substations are electronically supervised and fault condition can be displayed on command. Masters have provision for options such as: a handset, remote control boards, sound detection alarm modules, multiple master operation, and data interfaces.
