The Alpha Communications® / Elvox 851/001 Series handsets are primarily designed to work as an office type handset intercom station, where up to 40 master handsets can selectively call each other, in complete privacy. Each system can have up to four (4) simultaneous talk paths (links).
These attractive handsets easily surface mount right on the wall or over a single gang flush electrical back box (or plaster ring). The 851/001 handsets can be changed to desk mount with the addition of a model 2/805 desk adapter.
The 851/001 series handsets feature handset to handset signaling and 16 selective button switches for handset to handset signaling, and optional paging and door release.

||Use model 856/800 if you only need handset to handset communication. Use the model 857/800 in place of the 856/800, if you need paging capabilities and/or electric door release capability, or are using a remote door intercom station.
The handset station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / Elvox 851/001 handset or approved equal. Up to 40 total handsets may be used per system with a maximum of four (4) simultaneous (private) talk paths (links).
Handset(s) shall be surface wall mounted, directly on the wall or over a single gang electrical 'gem' box. Handset(s) shall be finished in a White/Black ABS plastic finish. Handset(s) shall include pushbuttons marked 1-10 and A-D for handset to handset signaling, and a paging and door release button switch. Push button markings shall be clearly visible and shall be marked directly onto the pushbuttons. Handset(s) shall include a built-in audible signal for handset to handset signaling. Handset(s) shall be used with the 856/800 or 857/800 series amplifier/power supply.
