VGA video monitor(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone NC313 or approved equal. Model NC313 shall be capable of visually tracking all NC300, NC300II or HC345C system activities, including display of all types and exact location of calls. All calls shall be displayed in standard English format. The video monitor shall be displayed in standard English format. The video monitor shall be standard VGA input.
The monitor shall have an anti-glare 15" picture tube with a 13.7" display area (measured diagonally). The monitor shall have a dot pitch of 0.28mm with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 (non-interlaced). The monitor shall provide controls for on/off (with indicator), brightness, contrast, horizontal size, horizontal position, vertical size, vertical position, pincushion, trapezoid, and recall. One NC313 shall be required per NC303, NC304 and/or NC304LCD Master Station, or primary master/secondary master station combination. Each NC313 monitor may require a model NC314A composite video to VGA converter.
The video monitor visually follows all incoming calls and the system's activities. Up to 16 calls (NC300 or HC345C) or 21 calls (NC300II) may be displayed simultaneously with each call identified by room and bed number. Twelve (12) different call priorities are indicated with code and emergency calls easily distinguishable from routine calls. Nurse/aide-needed, nurse/aide-registered, and STAT staff emergency requests are also indicated. Calls waiting and overtime messages are provided as reminders that staff response is needed.
The 13.7" non-glare display area affords the operator clear visual indication of system activity. Video monitor is desk mounted.
