The compact LCD video monitor(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone NC312 or approved equal. The NC312 shall be capable of visually tracking all NC300 System activities, including display of all call types and exact location of calls. All calls shall be displayed in standard English format. The LCD video monitor shall be standard black and white type with composite video input and 6.4" TFT LCD active matrix display (dot pattern 960(H) x 234(V) dots.)
The LCD video monitor will have power switch with indicator, brightness control, support base and will have an enclosure made of durable ABS plastic. The LCD video monitor shall include test cable, transformer and connectors to make appropriate video connections to NC350 series CPE. One NC312 shall be required per NC303 Master Station, or per common video output display location.
The NC312 Compact LCD Video Monitor is ideal in situations where desk space is at a premium, but clear call indication is still required. It is used in conjunction with the NC303 Master Station to provide complete control and communication functions, as offered by the NC300 Nurse Call System, or HC345C Emergency Call System.
The LCD video monitor visually follows all incoming calls and system activities. Up to sixteen calls may be simultaneously displayed with each call identified by room and bed number. Twelve different call priorities are indicated with code and emergency calls easily distinguished from routine calls. Nurse/aide-needed, nurse/aide-registered, and "STAT" staff emergency requests are also indicated. Calls waiting and overtime messages are provided as reminders that staff response is needed.
The 6.4" Active Matrix display affords the operator clear visual indication of system activity while keeping space usage to a minimum.
