The Voltage Interface Unit(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone model NC375 or approved equal.
The NC375 (128 station) Voltage Interface Unit shall interface any of the following Systems: NC110A, NC110N, NC200N, NC150N Nurse Call Systems; CM800, NC150R Emergency Call Systems; to either a model NC366A On-site UHF Transmitter or a model NC386A/8 (TEK-MMARS) management system. The Interface unit shall send serial data that will indicate call type and location. The NC375 shall be connected directly to the nurse call console or the Emergency Call Annunciator Panel, and shall be used with the model NC397A pocket pagers.
The NC375 Voltage Interface Unit will integrate the NC110A, NC110N, NC200N, NC150N Nurse Call Systems and CM800 and NC150R Emergency Call Systems with the on-site paging transmitter model NC366A. The NC375 will accommodate a 128 station system, and is connected directly to the nurse call master or emergency call annunciator panel. Up to 3 NC375 units may be connected to the NC366A to increase the capacity to 384 stations.
The NC375 interface will send call priority information via a serial port to the NC366A on-site UHF transmitter. The transmitter will in turn transmit this information to the model NC397A pocket pagers, allowing the staff to distinguish call priority levels. The NC375 serial data may also be sent to the NC386 series (TEK-MMARS) management system. The ability of the NC375 to accept analog inputs and turn them into serial data, and the ease of installation and connection, will allow the full integration of radio-paging and management systems to older non-microprocessor based nurse call and emergency call systems.
