Architects' And Engineers' Specifications
The Transmitter shall be Alpha Communications® / Stento model #1350 / #1351 or approved equivalent. The transmitter shall be housed in nickel plated steel housing and shall be approximately 5.00" H x 3.00" W x 1.00" D. The transmitter shall have high speed data transmissions with automatic frequency monitoring. The required antenna is BNC type and input is by a 9 pin "D" connector. The required power shall be 10 - 12 VDC. The #1350 transmitter shall mount inside #1330 termination unit.

The #1350 shall operate on the AstraPage radio paging system.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.

1350 / 1351 Transmitter

The #1350 is a small radio paging transceiver designed specifically to transmit short bursts of digitally coded data direct to AstraPage pocket (pagers) receivers. The unit is mounted in and controlled by the #1330 transmitter termination unit. It provides fast solid state switching and direct FM modulation for accurate high speed data capability. The unit includes receiver circuitry to monitor the radio frequency prior to transmitting. The #1350 (UHF standard) will operate on the AstraPage radio paging system.
