PK410D Talk-Controlled Door Release Adapter
The Alpha Communications®/TekTone PK410D adapter prevents tenants from opening the door without first activating the 'TALK' circuit. Before the door can be opened, the talk button on the intercom must be pushed; then conversation can be completed before opening the door. 

After the talk button is pushed, the tenant has a 30-second time limit to open the door. The PK410D is designed for use with the IA543 amplifier and IS204 or IS543 (or equivalent type) apartment room stations.

Architects' And Engineers' Specifications
The door release adapter shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone PK410D or approved equal and shall provide for talk-controlled door release when used in conjunction with Alpha Communications® amplifier model IS543 and apartment station model IS204 or IS543 (or equivalent).

The adapter shall have rugged construction and feature integrated circuit technology. Positive screw terminals shall be for installation wiring. Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.
