IR316 Psychiatric Station
The IR316 psychiatric station provides for audible, visual and digital communication to and from the CPE, including the nurse master station and video monitor. The station is for use in psychiatric wards or other high security hospital areas and is normally flush mounted at the entrance to these areas.

Activation of the station key switch places a non-resettable call to the nurse master station and enables the emergency button on the staff emergency station (model SF336 or SF338) located in the ward. Call placement is indicated by the call-placed light on the station panel and at the associated dome lamp. The in-use light on the panel indicates that the ward is being monitored at the nurse master station via the speaker/microphone located in the ward. If a staff member should require emergency assistance, the staff emergency station (model SF336 or SF338) can be used to place a high priority call to the master.

When exiting the ward, the staff member will turn the key switch to the "OFF" position and push the reset button to deactivate the emergency button and cancel the call at the master station. The speaker/microphone will remain active should a staff member wish to monitor that particular area.
