The wireless network coordinator(s) shall be Alpha Communications® WNC510 or approved equal. The network coordinator shall interface with the AlphaEcall™ 200 series and AlphaEntry (v5.5 or later) Master Station Station/Computer. A serial data interface shall translate messages from the WNC510 wireless network coordinator. The network coordinator shall send communications from up to 65,532 transmitters to the Master Station Computer. The receiver shall report the following transmitter fault conditions: low battery, tamper and missing-with a programmable supervision window of 1 to 24 hours. The receiver shall use a frequency-hopping spread spectrum with an operating frequency of 902-928 MHz.
Alpha Communications® has designed the AlphaEcall™ 200 series and AlphaEntry (v5.5 or later) to work as a system. The Master Stations have been carefully designed and matched to work with these wireless and wired peripherals. Alpha Communications® will not warrant or support components for these systems that are purchased separately unless the components are add-ons to previously sold systems. Alpha Communications® will also not warrant or support a system that is a mix of Alpha Communications® and Non-Alpha Communications® parts, unless prior written permission has been obtained. In order to track our systems and to inform facilities of software upgrades, full site information (site name, address and phone number) will be required when ordering. Site information and WNC510 warranty number will also be required when requesting technical support.
The Alpha Communications® WNC510 Receiver enables communication between transmitters and the WNC510 Master Station Computer in an AlphaEcall™ 200 series and/or AlphaEntry (v5.5 or later) Wireless Emergency Call System.
The WNC510 facilitates the supervision of all transmitters. The WNC510's EchoStream® 900 MHz spread-spectrum radio (from Inovonics) provides reliability, even in hostile or difficult radio environments. EchoStream® technology minimizes nulls or dead spots. The WNC510 Receiver includes a slot through the side of the plastic case for wiring. Transmitters are programmed using default information stored in the receiver.
The WNC510 comes complete with the required 12 VDC Plug-in Power Supply/PC Interconnect Assembly.
Connection to the system is made using the CA-USBSERV10 USB interface cable.
