The remote occupant help station(s) (OHS) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone IR145B or approved equal. The IR145B shall include solid-state LSI/microprocessor technology, a red "CALL" indicator and a 6' long pull cord for "HELP" call placement. IR145B stations must be used in conjunction with the IR345C (main) occupant help stations (OHS).
All station components shall be housed in an attractive, flame retardant type ABS plastic panel. Plugin type connectors shall be used for electrical connections.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.
Calling the master station is accomplished by pulling the 6' long "HELP" call cord mounted on the panel. Call-placed assurance is indicated by the red "CALL" indicator. The speaker-microphone is sensitive enough to assure clear conversation even with weak resident/patient inputs. Calls are canceled simply by returning the reset switch to the "LEFT" position.
